Helium regulator – which one to choose

A regulator is only needed for a rented cylinder. A disposable one does not need it – the inflation nozzle is already included.

What it is for

Gas in the cylinder sits at 200 bar. The regulator brings that down and lets you fill a balloon in one motion instead of working the valve. All three models fit the rented 20 / 40 / 50 l cylinders – the thread is 24.32 mm.

Which to take

For a single cylinder used once a year the simplest model without a gauge is enough: press the nozzle and the balloon fills.

A gauge shows the pressure in the cylinder, and with it how much gas is left and how many balloons that is. If you inflate regularly, it saves a trip for more gas.

The auto-stop valve is for foil balloons: it cuts the flow once the balloon is full, so the balloon does not burst and no gas is wasted.

If the thread does not match

The 24.32 mm thread is on all our rental cylinders. If the cylinder came from another supplier and the thread does not match, adapters are available – from 11,50 €: we pick the right one for your cylinder.
